Poeira tries to be a balanced and elegant wine. Douro wines are generally sustained by their tannins, but Poeira is sustained by its acidity. A very drinkable and appetising wine when young but which, at the same time, has the capacity to evolve. I want each wine to mirror the vines from which it is made, maintaining its profile but accompanying the variations that occur in the vineyard year after year.
